Uinen had a pretty good time on Arda, married to the livest wire around and with as many currents and beaches as she wanted to keep things interesting. Most of her job was keeping things quiet when the going got tough. It wasn't without its rewards, but it did tend to get a little discouraging, you know?
There's plenty to manage on Órë and now Uinen jumps right in, managing Swift Current Central, the leading hydro-electric and water utility in central Órë, on behalf of her boss. If things need calming down, most days all she has to do now is flip a switch. (Most days.) She still has a pretty good time (you might catch a glimpse of push-up bra or bohemian string of beads underneath all that professional wear) and loves to meet new people.
She's also taken a vow of celibacy. (There's so much more to experience.) ...That's not going to be a problem is it? |
